While driving on a winding road at dusk through New York’s Hudson Valley decades ago, Matt Mirones witnessed a vehicle’s silhouette in the distance. As he approached, he was captivated at first sight by the iconic Porsche 356—an encounter that ignited his quest to personally experience the timeless elegance and beauty of the marque.

That encounter began a lifelong pursuit.

Matt acquired his first 356, competed in autocross and vintage racing, and developed a deep appreciation for automotive engineering and design. Over time, his passion evolved from driving to restoration, preservation, and the creation of bespoke automobiles.

Founded in 2022, Rennquest is a boutique automotive studio specializing in vintage Porsche builds and a carefully selected collection of exceptional automobiles. Every project begins with a conversation—an exploration of the car, its history, and the client’s vision for how it should be experienced.
